Internet Setup Assistant Configuration
For Mac OS 8.5 or higher, Apple Internet Setup
Assistant 1.2
- Double Click the Hard Drive icon
- Double Click the Internet folder
- Double Click the Internet Setup Assistant icon



- Click the right arrow button

- For the configuration name, type in Horizonz
- Select Modem
- Click the right arrow

- Select your modem from the Modem list
- Select Modem Port
- Select Tone
- Click the right arrow

- For the what is the phone number for this configuration box, type in
your local Horizonz access number.
- In the log-in name or user ID box, type in your Horizonz username (be
sure to type it as username#horizonz.com@isplogin.com. i.e. john#horizonz.com@isplogin.com)
- Type in your password in the password box
- Click the right arrow

- For Does your ISP require that you use a PPP Connect Script, select No
- Click the right arrow

- For Is there an IP address for this configuration, select No
- Click the right arrow

- For What is the Domain Name (or host name) for this configuration,
type in horizonz.com
- Click the right arrow

- For What is the e-mail address for this configuration, type in your
Horizonz e-mail (i.e, username@horizonz.com)
- Type in your password (but if you want to manually enter in your
password each time you check your email, you can leave this field blank)
- Click the right arrow

- For the pop e-mail account, type in your username followed by @pop3.horizonz.com
(i.e, username@pop3.horizonz.com)
- For the SMTP host, type in smtp.horizonz.com
- Click the right arrow


- For Do you use proxy servers for Internet connections, select No
- Click the right arrow

- If you’d like to connect to the internet immediately, check Connect when
finished
- Click the Go Ahead button

When Done:
Select the Apple Menu
Next Select Control Panels and use Remote Access

Click the Connect button

Once connected you can now run your Browser, Internet application, or Email
application.
