(Outgoing Mail)
(Incoming Mail)
Outlook Express for Microsoft Windows Operating System
Step 1
From the Outlook Express menu bar, select Tools->Accounts

Step 2
In the Internet Accounts windows, select Add->Mail...

Step 3
The Internet Connection Wizard will interview you to gain some information.
First it will ask you what name you would like to be displayed on all your
outgoing mail. Usually this will be your full name.

Step 4
Next make sure the radio button next to "I already have an e-mail address
that I'd like to use" is selected. Enter in your full e-mail address.

Step 5
The Internet Connection Wizard will now ask for your server information. From
the pulldown menu, select IMAP (do NOT select POP3 or HTTP for
server type). Also enter the incoming and outgoing mail server information.
Incoming mail server: Your ISP’s incoming mail
server (pop.horizonz.com )
Outgoing mail server: Your ISP’s outgoing mail server (smtp.horizonz.com )

Step 6
Enter your username (complete email address) and your password. Check the
"Remember password" box if you are the only person who ever has access
to this particular machine.

Step 7
You have now configured an IMAP profile for checking your e-mail. Click 'Finish'
and then 'Close' the Internet Accounts window.
Step 8
After closing the Internet Accounts window, you will be asked if you would like
to download the message folders from our server. Click 'Yes' and enter your
password information if prompted.

Step 9
You will now see a list of all the items which reside in your mail space on the
server. You should not need to modify this information at all. It will list an
Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts and Bulk. The first three are the default folders of
your IMAP account. The Bulk folder will contain all messages identified as SPAM.

Step 10
Now when you view your mail folders you will see your local folders (Inbox,
Outbox, Sent Items) and a list of IMAP folders. The Inbox under your IMAP
folders is where your new mail will appear from now on.

Step 11
Once you have verified that your IMAP folders are downloaded, you should remove
your POP e-mail profile in the Internet Accounts list. Select Tools->Accounts
from the menu bar (as in Step 1) and remove the POP profile if it exists. Simply
select the old profile and click 'Remove'. You will be prompted to ask for
certain if you want to delete the old account. Please note that this will not
delete your e-mail messages.

Your Outlook Express e-mail client should now be making its e-mail connections through the IMAP protocol.
All changes you make to your e-mail account (adding new folders, moving
messages, etc...) will be instantly recognized when you use any other IMAP
